Snakes!!!!

I'll talk something about snakes that freaked the crap out of me.

I know someone who know a friend who has a 6 feet long snake. She has this 6 feet-long snake as a pet. She was so much in love with that snake; she took the snake out of the cage secretly, avoiding her parents and bathed with it, and even slept with it every night. She did that over little bit a month, without getting caught. During the night, the snake used to wrap around her about half of the month. But after that, the snake slept straight, stretching itself, as if it was dead. It did that for just a little more than a week. It didn't eat for a whole week! as if it was mad at her at or something! Then, she thought of everything. She gave him nicest food she could ever give,
(like a mouse) but it refused to eat. She kissed it, hugged, and did everything she could do. Then she got so worried, so she confessed to her parents all about what she had done. They went to see a doctor about it. She told her the doctor that she slept with it secretly out of the cage, and said that it wouldn't eat.
The doctor asked if the snake wrapped around her for few days.
she said "YES"
Then the doctor asked if the snake sleeps stretched beside her, and refusing to eat.
she said "YES"
the doctor said to bring that snake immediately. BECAUSE, when the snake was wrapping around her, it was measuring her size and height length, to determine if he could eat her or not.
And when it went limp and refusing to eat, it was preparing to eat her; emptying its stomach to fit her inside him. If its stomach was full, t he couldn't fit her in.

So if she did not bring the snake to the doctor, she would have been killed.
At first, she refused to give the snake. She was literally in "LOVE" with that snake. Well, it ended up giving the snake anyway though. haha. Freaky story....

So it switched the image of snake in my mind.
An animal that is wretched........
well.....that's my opinion.

Franz Liszt

This is completely my-own-word biography.

1811, October 22nd, a piano genius was born in Hungary. His name was Franz Liszt, one of the pianist I admire. He was one of a kind who played the piano like a toy, when he was ten years old. He even got a kiss from Beethoven on the forehead. He earend money by traveling around the Europe, and he was only twelve at the moment.

When he was five to fifteen, he grew tall, handsome, talanted, and popular. He was a star.
There was two people who influenced him the most: Chopin and Paganini. When Liszt thought he was the best musician, he first saw Paganini.
Paganini was a vionlinist who amazed and astonished everyone with his extremely transcedental vionlin skills. At that time period, Liszt thought that he was the best musician on earth, and when he saw Paganini, he got into a great panic mode because he saw someone who was better him for the first time. From then, he practiced piano insaenly. He practiced piano more than 12hours a day and night, to become better than Paganini, the master-violinist.

In my opinion, practicing piano more than 12 hours a day is physically not good. That's like playing piano all day. Since a day is 24 hours, and sleeping 8 hours, makes the 16 hours of free time. Playing piano for 12 hours makes the free time only 2 hours, which is all for going to bathroom-eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So for all day, all he does is sleep, eat, poop, piano. I don't think I can do it, but I will try it one day.

So he made Etudes for Paganini. He made piano versions of Paganini's awe-stricking etudes and brought even greater effect than the original. People were fascinated. One of the famous etude is called "La campanella"(the picture above) and believe me, it's as hard as hell. It looks tidy, but you have to jump your hand furiously and consistenly and ACCURATELY. The sound has to be pleasant and not hurried.

So Liszt completed his mission: he had become better(...almost same level) than Paganini. But Liszt only had technique. For musician, technique is not all. So, Chopin completed Liszt as a perfect musician. Liszt saw his friend, Chopin's performance, his face was blank, then said

"He has something that I don't have"

SO, Now liszt realized that in order to touch someone's heart is not "Technique" but by "Music" itself.

I admire Liszt for his jealously who converted it to Passion and become better pianist. Yay-

About the pets that I had

How many pets do you have? Unusually, I had total four pets, and they were baby little chicks (Chicken's early form) but they unfortunately all ended up dying.

The first chick I had was really cute, and it cried night and day. I don't know why, but I gave it milk, and rice, and everything, but it died.

The second chick I had was cutest chick I might had; I think it was a "She." It followed after me every time and sat next to me when I slept. But when my grandma went out for walking with my little chick, a stray cat snatched it before my grandma's eyes. I was seven at the moment, and I cried a lot.

The third chick was adorable, too. But I don't think I treated him well though. I would jump him up and down to make him fly- and now I that I see it, I don't think he enjoyed it that much. And one night, my friends came over and stepped on it accidentally, and it literally exploded. I could see its organs coming out of his butthole, crying as loud as it can for twenty seconds because of the great pain. I thought of the pain he had to bear, and I CRIED AND PUKED in my grandma's bedroom; I was sorry that I didn't treat him as well as the other chicks. The next day I hung out with my friends as nothing happened.

The fourth chick I had was a very aggressive boy. He was so tough in his early age. He had a loud scream, always the first one to crow in the morning, and I don't think he liked me very much. At first, He was very obedient, but in his teen year, he was extremely rebellious. He would attack me when I was nine, when I was really weak. I tried to fight him off but he didn't stop attacking me; so my grandma kicked him and he flew, and escaped. He attacked me several times, and when my relatives came, my grandma asked her sister to kill it; and I watched it with my eyes. I was amazed at her skillful moves. I won't explain it because it's pretty graphic, and school-inappropriate.

Fantasy Impromptu

This is one of the masterpiece by Chopin called Fantasy Impromptu in C sharp minor,Op, Posthumous 66. I had real fun with this long time ago. I learned this piece two years ago; thought that this was the fastest piece on earth a human could play, but it turned out to be nothing compared to other pieces. The difficulty about this piece, is the rhythmic challenge. Some call it cross-rhythms. Left hand have to play triplets when the right hand have to play continuous sixteenth notes; I call it “nightmare” because it’s presto, whicn can make sounds very very obnoxious and confusing. After a minute of rushing, the B part, or the "development" changes to D-flat major Largo, and then moderato cantabile, producing a very beautiful tune, like a lullaby. After the lullaby, the “nightmare” restarts and ends with mysterious and a quiet way.
This is kind of a Show-off piece, and that’s why I liked it(now I’m into Liszt and Rachmaninoff). This song was composed in 1834, and was dedicated Julian Fontana, who was a Polish pianst, composer, lawyer, author, entrepreneur, and a very close friend and musical executor of Chopin. I personally like Chopin because of high technique and he’s style is very different but somehow similar to Rachmaninoff and Liszt. Chopin’s somehow passionate and sensitive and addictive. The tunes can get stuck in your head for a whole week if you actually know the song.
My favorite Chopin pieces are Nocturne in E, C sharp, and C minor, and F major, and fantasy impromptu, Scherzo in B flat minor(3/4 PRESTO!), Etude in C sharp minor(the current song I’m working on) 10-4(Torrent), Etude in A minor, 25-11 (winter wind) and revolutionary Etude which is 10-12, in C minor.

one of the song i'm working on

One of the song that I'm working on the piano is Fredric Chopin's Etude. Etude is a french word meaning "study." Etude is a music sheet for improving technical skills. Of course, it is technically difficult, and the difficulties are determined by which technique you try to improve . I'm playing one of the Etude called "Torrent" its specific name is Etude Op.10 No.4. It is inhumanly fast, and in the olden time, they said that it is a composition that can't be played by a human being.
This composition is the hardest etude that Chopin wrote. It is C sharp minor, with continual sixteenth notes that changes theme back and forth. The last part is what you can call the "CLIMAX" it's when the fingers have to move as fast as sewing machines to hit the right amount of power and time. You have to finish this in 1 minute 50 seconds appromixately; and it's difficult to actually succeed in that tempo. But a pianist called Sviatoslav Ricther broke the record to 1 minute and 30 seconds. You can see the video of him playing "Torrent" in the following hyperlink.

The World Map Music Sheet!

This is a music sheet that looks like a world map. Click on the picture to see it more clearly. I've never tried to play this because this is a symphony song. I probably need 23 hands to play it. There is an mp3 file of this if you search it in the google;and of course played by a computer, and it didn't sound as horrible as the Death Waltz. This is however, composed by the same composer; probably took him years to compose. But it's worth it. I want to own this music sheet of its original size. It's really big; and just think about hanging this on the wall-sweet! Isn’t it?

An Impossible Song to PLAY!

This music sheet is a sheet that no one can play; of course, except for the computers. I tried to play it, but it almost ripped my hands off because I had to stretch my hands impossibly to reach those keys. There is an mp3 version recorded by the computer and the sound was not pretty and it was like hitting random keys. If there is any human kind who could play this song without missing any keys, he or she may be the greatest pianist in the world and I would personally worship him or her. This song can be in the YouTube, but the player was cutting off many keys.
